SDG Talks got to hear from Lottie Dowling, the manager of the Educ8 Conference club on Clubhouse who runs weekly chats and global, free conferences on a variety of topics. Beyond holding the titles as HundrED Ambassador and Manager of International Programming in the first Twitter Spaces Conference (June 2021), Lottie is a primary trained educator who has travelled the globe teaching in several contexts. Over the last 20 years, she has worked in education as a school practitioner and professional learning leader on a global, national and regional levels. She has run networks of schools with educators working on pedagogical change and school improvement and delivered professional learning in a range of contexts including face to face and digitally, including through social media.
She is passionate about building Global Citizenship in meaningful, authentic ways, through intercultural experiences and working with schools for whole school transformation. She strongly feels education shapes society and that is how we can truly engage the next generation to achieve their maximum potential.
